A scale model is a representation of an object that is either larger or smaller than the actual object.
The two types of scale models are study/working models and presentation/finished models.
Advantages of scale models: You are able to study the volume of a space, reveals the 3-D qualities of a given space, and gives a highly accurate representation of the space.
Limitations: They are costly to create, time intensive, and require expensive tools.
We will be making 2 scale models of a space in our apartment.
