Michael Lee

Michael Lee is a prestigious interior designer. Most well known for finding beauty in the unusual, his work has inspired many. He was named by Architectural Digest as one of the top 100 designers. His transformations such as 1911 Dallas Exchange building becoming a beautiful Parisian manor have been inspired by finding inner beauty to an otherwise unattractive space. He enjoys combining mew and modern ideas with more antique and rustic designs. This quality has added to the unique designs that he has created. In order to expand his work he has created an art exhibit named Shadows and Souls. Also through his Elephant Rock Foundation, he has been able to provide grants to up and coming musical artists. Three of his projects include sag harbor, tin house, and the bungalow. His unusual design techniques have proven to be stylish yet practical and are pleasing to the eye.

Hello! Welcome to Sydney Shufelt's blog! Here you will be able to find all things art and interior design. I am currently in my sophomore year in High School and I am taking a functional art class. After high school I plan on attending college. Outside of school I enjoy things such as reading, shopping, and cheerleading.

My favorite designers include: Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Dior. I also love the looks of modern and chic designs. This blog will be a place for interior design inspiration. There will be links and photos in order to supply ideas and show different ways to effectively assess a space and what the most sufficient ways to design it. A scale model is a representation of an object that is either larger or smaller than the actual object.

The two types of scale models are study/working models and presentation/finished models.

Advantages of scale models: You are able to study the volume of a space, reveals the 3-D qualities of a given space, and gives a highly accurate representation of the space.

Limitations: They are costly to create, time intensive, and require expensive tools.

We will be making 2 scale models of a space in our apartment.
